Unquenchable Revenge – Episode 1

AUTHOR’S NOTE

Unquenchable Revnge began as my attempt to make the world a better place by exposing ignorance, encouraging understanding between cultures, and confronting racism. I believe that if we better understood different cultures, much of the friction that divides humanity could be avoided.

What I discovered, however, was something far greater…

• A light-year is not a measure of time, but distance — approximately 9.46 trillion kilometres.

• The speed of light is 299,792 kilometres per second.

• Our observable universe contains an estimated two trillion galaxies and spans approximately 93 billion light-years across.

• Laniakea, meaning “immeasurable heaven,” is one of roughly ten million superclusters, stretching approximately 520 million light-years in diameter and containing over 100,000 galaxies.

• One of those galaxies is the Milky Way, which measures about 100,000 light-years in diameter and contains an estimated 100–400 billion solar systems. One of those systems is our own.

• Data from NASA’s Kepler mission revealed that planets are abundant throughout the Milky Way, suggesting that tens of billions of Earth-size worlds may exist within habitable zones.

• Our nearest galactic neighbour, Andromeda, lies 2.5 million light-years away and spans more than 220,000 light-years, making it nearly twice the size of our own Milky Way.

This made me realize there will always be conflict. Racism is horrible, but the crimes cultures even commit on themselves are vast. It’s a human instinct for survival and power.

My message to the world: train in self-defence, drink more water than caffeine, and treat others how you would like to be treated. We live in a miracle. If you need evidence, look up at the stars and absorb the abundance. Our lives are short and truly a gift; set a goal and achieve it.
